Without a car
In the summer period the free Beach Shuttle runs every weekend (Saturday and Sunday), on weekdays with good beach weather and during major events; in 2026 from Saturday 4 July to Sunday 30 August. Park for free at the Koninklijke Beuk (Van Berckelweg 32) or, when it is full, at the Northgo College (Duinwetering 107). Between 10 am and 7 pm a shuttle leaves every half hour for the Vuurtorenplein, a 3-minute walk from Beachclub O. After 7 pm Taxi Brouwer takes you back for €15 (up to 4 people) or €25 (minibus or wheelchair taxi, up to 8 people): +31 (0)71 - 361 10 00. Beach Shuttle timetable

Well sorted,even without a car.
In summer the free Beach Shuttle runs on Saturdays and Sundays, and on weekdays when the beach weather is good (in 2026 from 4 July to 30 August). Park for free at the Koninklijke Beuk, Van Berckelweg 32; when it is full, the car park at the Northgo College (Duinwetering 107) opens. Between 10 am and 7 pm the shuttle takes you to the Parallel Boulevard every half hour. Get off at the Vuurtorenplein, a 3-minute walk from Beachclub O. After 7 pm Taxi Brouwer takes you back to the car park at a fixed fare.
By public transport, travel to the Vuurtorenplein bus stop. It is easy to reach from Leiden, Sassenheim and Voorhout train stations; from there it is a few minutes' walk to the boulevard.

Is there parking on the boulevard?
Yes. The car park on Koningin Wilhelmina Boulevard is right by the beach access point, within walking distance of Beachclub O.
Where is the best place to park on busy days?
If the boulevard is full, head for Vuurtorenplein (3-minute walk), the Wantveld car park (5 minutes) or the Palace Plein car park (7 minutes).
How often does the Beach Shuttle run?
In summer every half hour between 10 am and 7 pm, on Saturdays and Sundays and on weekdays when the beach weather is good (in 2026 from 4 July to 30 August). Parking at the Koninklijke Beuk (Van Berckelweg 32) and the ride are free. You get off at the Vuurtorenplein, a 3-minute walk from Beachclub O. For groups we arrange a tailor-made shuttle service; ask about the options at Email.
Can I come by public transport?
Yes. Travel to the Vuurtorenplein bus stop, which is easy to reach from the railway stations of Leiden, Sassenheim and Voorhout. From the stop it is a walk of just a few minutes to the boulevard.
