Our privacy policy
Below you can read how Beachclub O. handles your personal data when you visit our website: which data we collect, what we use it for and which rights you have in this regard.
What we collect and why
If you visit the website without providing any data yourself, we only process the technically necessary data that your browser automatically sends to our server. We need this data to display the website and to safeguard its security and stability.
If you do provide data (through a quote request, a newsletter subscription or a booking), we process the data you enter yourself, such as your name, email address and telephone number. We use this data solely to respond to your request or to fulfil our agreements with you.
For a quote request, we also process the company name, the subject, the preferred date, the number of people and your explanatory notes. This enables the Sales & Events team to assess your request, contact you and prepare a suitable proposal. Submitting a quote request does not automatically subscribe you to marketing communications.
- Technical data: IP address, date and time, requested page, status code
- Technical data: browser type, language and version, operating system
- Data you provide: name, email address, telephone number, your message
Brochures and follow-up
For some of our brochures we ask for your email address once. We use it to email you the brochure you requested and to record your request for our events team. We do this because you ask us to.
An encrypted, functional cookie remembers your address for 180 days, so you can open every other brochure without filling anything in again. Your email address is never stored readably in your browser. "Not your address?" in the brochure viewer deletes that cookie straight away.
- We only send personal follow-up by email (inspiration and a proposal) if you tick that box yourself. You can withdraw this consent at any time via the unsubscribe link or Email.
- You only receive our newsletter if you tick that separate box.
With whom we share data
For the processing, we engage service providers, mainly in the fields of IT, logistics, telecommunications, distribution and marketing. They process your data as processors and are obliged to handle it with due care. In addition, we disclose data where required by law, for example to tax authorities or supervisory authorities.
If data is transferred to parties outside the EU or the EEA, we only do so if the European Commission considers the level of protection there to be adequate or if we have safeguarded this contractually. We do not retain your data for longer than necessary; after that, it is blocked or erased, unless a statutory retention obligation applies.
Cookies, statistics and advertising
The public website currently does not use any analytics or advertising cookies, nor any tracking pixels. We only process technically necessary data to keep the website secure and stable.
If you use an embedded booking service, that service may use its own cookies or similar technologies. Please refer to that provider’s privacy and cookie information. If we later deploy optional measurement or marketing technologies, we will first update this policy and the consent mechanism.
