Helping steerour kitchen
Beachclub O. is looking for reinforcements in the kitchen. As a sous chef, you’re responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen and for preparing the dishes. From a light lunch on the terrace to big parties and celebrations, you make sure guests can enjoy a delicious meal on the beach at Noordwijk.
While our team works hard to make sure everything runs smoothly, there’s also plenty of room for a healthy dose of humour and good times with your colleagues. The variety in the restaurant means you’ll never be bored and will love every minute in the kitchen.
What will you do?
As a sous chef at Beachclub O., you’re responsible for:
- Helping plan the daily work by setting staffing levels and the products and ingredients needed based on expected covers
- Helping lead the work in the kitchen production
- Assessing and monitoring the quality of products and dishes
- Preparing dishes and sending them to the pass
- Cleaning the work area and kitchen equipment
- Planning daily tasks and ordering stock
- Helping decide the menu and the regular rotation of dishes
- Monitoring shelf life and hygiene
Who are we looking for?
You recognise yourself in the following profile:
- Working and thinking at vocational (MBO) level, the Dutch secondary vocational education standard
- Experience in a similar role
- You take the initiative and are quality-driven, enthusiastic and resilient under pressure
- You’re flexible
